Tillicoultry (Tullich Cul Tir within Scots Gaelic - "At the foot of the hills") occurs as microscopic town (Population 5264 in 2001) in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. Tillicoultry is placed at a southern base of the Ochil Hills and to the north of the Flow of any stream Devon. Neighboring towns Dollar and Alva lie to the east and west severally. Tillicoultry is typically known as "Tilly" per locals.
Textile mills were originally the large employers of the local people in the 1st half of the 20th century. When the textile industry declined but, a town became a popular commuter town.
